EUROACCORD - launch

Honda shows the first images of the Accord that will replace the current model. The range will consist of two types of bodywork, a four-door and a family.
The range of engines will have three alternatives, one diesel and two petrol. The diesel engine is now called "i-DTEC" and has 150 hp. It is based on the previous "i-C"TDi 140 hp but it has significant changes primarily to give more power and to comply with a more stringent emission standard, Euro 5.
The gasoline remains a 2.0 litre 156 hp, similar to the range of Accord still sold but with changes to its consumption is lower, and a 2.4 litre 200 hp, which is also based on the with the current Accord, which gives 190 hp.
All versions have a gearbox manual six-speed. Optionally, the gasoline may have a box of five automatic gears.
All versions will have stability control besides acting on the brakes and the engine power, it intervenes in the right direction. If, for example, the car loses path, the steering system can make a certain amount of force on the steering wheel to indicate to the driver where to turn.
Other elements of hardware that may have is a system of protection prior to the collision (CMBS), developer of active speed (ACC) and a warning system for involuntary change lanes (LKAS).
Throughout today, February 11, will expand the information in this car.
